Thank you for visiting the Priory School website. The Priory School, based in Shrewsbury, is an extremely successful school with students achieving excellent results at GCSE.
In awarding 'Outstanding' status in 2009, OFSTED described the school as being "outstanding because everyone subscribes to the school’s motto of the ‘pursuit of excellence’ in all they do. Attainment is significantly above average" (OFSTED 2009). However, we are not complacent and realise that in order to maintain this high standard we must continue to improve: our results this year are proof of our determined approach. We take great pride in our school, ensuring that staff are well supported in carrying out their duties.
We have Business & Enterprise College status as a specialism of the school; we believe that all of our students benefit from this as it develops enterprising approaches to learning and also an understanding and an aquisition of skills for the world of work.
